As you may already know, ART Fertility has two long-standing traditions at our annual holiday party: announcing our Golden Egg Award Winners and surprising the doctors with our annual charitable contribution. In place of buying a gift to show our appreciation for each of our doctors, we’ve always felt that making a donation to a local non-profit organization on their behalf was much more meaningful.
As a group, each year our staff gets together to decide where we would like to make a contribution. Sometimes we make a cash donation to a cause and other times we participate in a charitable event. One year we participated in the Susan G. Komen Race for a Cure and made t-shirts to sell in the office to raise money. We’ve also provided donations to Angel Tree and toys to Children’s Hospital. Last year our office is proud to have contributed more than $2,300 to Julie’s Army of Hope.
This year our annual contribution went to Cornerstone Ranch, a Non-Profit Christian organization focused on helping young people. The organization runs multiple summer camps that use Christian principles and activities to provide support and spiritual guidance to young people. Mr. Rusty Rouse, Co- Founder of Cornerstone Ranch, and Ms. Jennifer Gooch Davis of ART Fertility Program helped organize our donation efforts for this wonderful organization.
Thanks to the generosity and hard work of our employees, we were able to donate almost $2,500 as well as 2 fishing boats, life jackets, and fishing poles for campers to use at the ranch.
“Words can’t express how much we appreciate this donation. Over the years, we’ve been truly blessed to have great organizations and individuals support Cornerstone Ranch. These types of investments allow us to give kids an incredible camp experience they’ll always remember. Without the help of donations like ART contributed, we could do very little,” said Mr. Rouse.
