The following post is a success story that Craig and Paula Davis have graciously decided to share with us.

We got married in 2010 and always had a “five year plan”. We finished our five years with a trip to Europe and hoped to be welcoming a baby early the next year. We had done everything we could to prepare – tried to be healthy, used the Fertility Awareness Method of charting my cycles, and did not stress. Unfortunately, we spent the next year disappointed. My regular ob-gyn did some testing and found no issues, so we called ART on the recommendation of a friend with a success story.

Dr. Houserman was very reassuring and gave us a realistic picture of what the coming months would look like. We lived closer to the Montgomery office and most of our office visits were there. In the meantime, we heard of a birth mother looking to place her son for adoption. The timing couldn’t have been more perfect for us – we were ready to become parents! We adopted our son in September of 2016. However, we knew we didn’t want to look back and wish we had tried more to conceive, so we kept on with ART, even with a newborn! The Montgomery staff was so warm and helpful to us during this time.

We started with letrazole and then did IUIs for three months. Our next step was to try IUI with Gonal-f. We were successful in February of 2017 and we welcomed our baby boy on November. I will never forget the phone call from Tracy that day letting me know I was pregnant! I could not believe it. We spent almost two years trying to get pregnant and were successful about 10 months after coming to the clinic. We were planning to try one more IUI with Gonal-f before deciding we had done enough.

Our sons are just over 13 months apart and we are so thankful for both of them! We are appreciative of ART truly caring for us and helping us and big brother Grant welcome home baby Miles.
